Job Security is a Thing of the Past

"Job security is a thing of the past and you can't play today's game with yesterday's rule"

I know this sounds foreign to you but if you haven't heard it yet, please listen to me. "There is no such thing as job security". What it's all about is anytime, the company you are working for or your employer could collapse and lay off (at any moment).

So don't do today what works yesterday. Having one source of income is not enough in today's generation and it is advisable to have multiple streams of income. Don't just be contented and depend on your 9 to 5 job (regardless if it is day or night). Instead, look for more ways on how to make more money. Based on the books I read, don't go and look out for opportunities. You should background check yourself and look within. The skills and talents you have, you can actually use and maximize these to your advantage. Think of a way on how you can make money out of it. Like what I did. I really love writing and expressing myself through words. I put all my thoughts into writing and prefer to share it with the world through my blog. The fact that you are reading this shows a proof. I can't deny that I earn a little cash from my blogs by letting ads appear on top, bottom and sides of it. Of course, I do have some small businesses which add up to my income.

Learn as much as you can and educate yourself with the right knowledge. Remember if your goal is to become rich, then don't go to a corporate world. There is a slim chance for an employee to become rich. Still, the money is in creating more businesses. But if your passion is in things you do at your work, then don't leave and resign. Instead, continue doing what you love while creating sidelines on your free time. In time, you'll have lots of money working for you at your disposal. There will come a time that even if you stop working for money, you will still live the awesome life you had.

Having a job is not enough at all. It doesn't mean also that you're stabled and secured. So you'd better be prepared for the worst things to happen.

Thanks for reading.

    1. I think you already proved to the world and to me that we should go after our passion in life and that's what you are currently doing, freelancing and working at home.

I salute you for taking risk and I'm sure whatever happens, either you become successful there or not, at least you try and learn from your experience. As they say, experience is the best teacher. :)

Avoid Sticking To Unproductive People

Actually, this stuff I am about to share can be good or bad. It depends on where you get influence from. If the influence can help you achieve your goals, then that is good and vice versa if it can only lead you to misfortune. Anyway, I would like to put here the paragraph I read somewhere. I hope it makes sense to you. Avoid sticking to people who have hobbies of collecting stuff which are too much expensive. In the end, you'll be like them through the influence or the process.

Did You Start Your 52-Week Money Challenge?

Early of this year (January 2017) , I stumbled upon this weird challenge, the 52-week money challenge . The first time I got introduced to it, I became confused because I couldn't understand how it worked. Anyway, the idea of saving money from your salary or business weekly is a good idea but the challenge is you will add the original amount of money to the previous week's money every week.
