Don't Let Them Dictate Your Life

This is one of the realizations I have and I'm sure you had experienced or currently experience this in your life. Read it carefully, my friend. "Most people stick to the job that they hate because people are expecting them to have a 9 to 5 job." I don't know, but this is the truth and reality. Even if they do not explicitly say to us, we can sense and feel it in ourselves. They expect us to have a 9 to 5 job after we graduated in college. So the result, we end up in a job that we hate. Their expectations from us force us to do whatever we can that sometimes lead to making bad decisions in life.

The Culprit Why You Are Still There Is Your Limiting Belief

I'm not sure if I was the one who wrote what I will share with you today (a very inspiring statement) or I just got it from others but what I want is for you to ponder and internalize it: "The real problem when achieving your dreams is your limiting belief. If you don't believe yourself that you can achieve what you want, then that basically manifest into a reality. With firm belief and conviction, everything is possible. Just don't forget that God is always at your back in every battle, struggle and challenge you face."

What's In It For Me?

This is what I observe in the nature of people. Whenever you offer someone something, the first thing he/she thinks of, regardless if they implicitly or explicitly say it to you, is "what's in it for me?". It's the same also when they are the one who show something to you. Actually, that's what happened to me last week. I will not mention his name as well as what he offered to me specifically. This someone contacted me through email and negotiated with me about something. At first, I was like agreeing with his idea. He basically wanted to post/have an advertisement in my blog because he thought it would add value to my readers' experience. If we see it that way, he's right. But the other part of me seemed wanting more. The fact that I put myself on this blog and continuously care for it by writing lots of blog posts show that I'm serious in blogging and treat it as a business. So I asked him what's in it for me and what would I get in return. An

Don't Be Pushy When You Are Selling

This is what I learn when selling: People will buy if they see the products or services what they can benefit from it in the first place. Forcing people to purchase something is not a good thing because it just shows that you are too aggressive and being pushy to dispose of your products to them. In order for you to sell, you just have to list out what benefits your customers or target people could get from using your product. Don't just show them what features your product has because I assure you, the chance of getting a sale is slim.

You Don't Need Money to Make Money

This is the truth. You do not need money to make money. If you know something and you are good at it (in other words you have a skill in doing something), you can offer that as your service and ask for a payment. Let me give you an example. Suppose you have a talent in writing. You can actually make money out of it. How? By applying for a freelance writer in an online site like . Offering your service there will give you a chance to earn a part-time or full-time living. Just do your best, show what you've got and prove to the buyer/employer that you have a great work ethic. Meaning you only provide the best of everything and if they asked you to fix a small revision, instead of declining their request, you will do it for free. But remember you must set a number of allowed revisions per task because you do not want them to take advantage or abuse you in the first place. You just make it transparent to them in your service description so everything is clear to them bef
