You Have a Job but Want to Earn More

Usually, people have a full time job (Normally, a 9 to 5 job) but still looking for other ways to earn extra income. If you're serious about it, you'll have to improve your other talent apart from your expertise.

In my case, I'm a programmer by profession but you'll be shocked after learning my other passion which I utilize to earn extra cash. I'm sure you have an idea what it is coz you are here in my blog seeing lots of published posts. Yes, that's right! I love writing. And since I love doing it, I use it to create this blog, write lots of articles and submit my works to clients who avail my service and pay me in return.

What about you? What's your passion? Whether it is data encoding, programming or designing, whatever it is, you can use it to generate additional money.

Some people don't want to spend their time (8 hours) at work or in a four-wall office. Others hate their boss or dislike working with bully officemates. The result is they go to freelancing and prefer to serve themselves. I tried that before for 3 months but realized it was too early for me to make it my new career.  So I returned to the corporate world and formed a strategy. And that strategy is building a part-time business gradually while having a full-time job. By the time that venture becomes successful and the money I get from it is consistent/exceeds my job salary, then that's the time I leave my work and focus my full attention to it.

Before I end this post, I would like to share this with you. Take all the wealth of a rich person and give him/her a year. When a year ends, you'll be surprised upon learning that he/she earned it back or more than that. That's the power of a learned/acquired skill that all rich people know. It doesn't need money to make money. If you have the right skills, you'll get whatever amount you want. You'll have to work hard at first but don't dismiss the idea of working smart. What I mean is hire other people to do your business and outsource other works to them. That's where the idea of money works for you comes in. It's a very big topic so you won't find me discussing it here.

I hope you like it. Feel free to leave your thoughts below. I would be glad reading whatever you input.

Thank you!

  1. I might change career few years from now. Currently trying to mitigate the risks of this plan for a smooth transition. :)

    1. Thanks for your comment, Fred. What career are you planning to take? I'm curious. :)

Avoid Sticking To Unproductive People

Actually, this stuff I am about to share can be good or bad. It depends on where you get influence from. If the influence can help you achieve your goals, then that is good and vice versa if it can only lead you to misfortune. Anyway, I would like to put here the paragraph I read somewhere. I hope it makes sense to you. Avoid sticking to people who have hobbies of collecting stuff which are too much expensive. In the end, you'll be like them through the influence or the process.

My Top 3 Payment Processors For Freelancers

I had experiences in freelancing and I know your number 1 question is how you get your payment from your clients. Below are 3 Payment Processors that I recommend to use: PayPal Skrill Payoneer I use PayPal as my online wallet when doing transactions online. I can use it to pay for goods I buy online, send money to other PayPal users and accept money from clients and other people. As for Skrill , I recently use it since one of the sites I use stops using PayPal. My experience with them is good so far. I used their sending and accepting services and it worked perfectly fine.
