How to Make Money From Blogging

In the religion of money-crazed people, “Thou shall not be a writer” is the first commandment.  They say there’s no money in writing. Well in some ways, it’s true. It’s hard to make money as a writer unless you’re J.K. Rowling. But if you really love the craft, don’t lose hope because you can always make money from blogging. So here’s how.

  • Affiliate Marketing – In your blog, you can make money by selling other people’s products. Amazon Associates is the most popular affiliate program but it’s not your only option. There are lots of online marketplaces that offer affiliate programs too. If you join their program, you’ll earn a share of their sales every time someone buys their product through your blog. If your readers trust you and you’re an expert on your niche, you can make a lot of money through this.
  • Advertising – You can make money by selling your ad spaces to online businesses. You’ll generate income every time someone views your content. So if you have lots of visitors, more money will come to you. Google AdSense is the best out there. In fact, it’s the number one choice of lots of bloggers. It’s hassle-free and easy to use.
  • Selling Products – So if you’re also an entrepreneur, you can sell your own products in your blog. The trick here is to gain the public’s trust by creating helpful posts. Once you have lots of social proof, more people will be convinced to buy your products.
  • Marketing Your Services – If you can write well, you can offer services such as freelance writing, SEO writing, editing and consultations. And if you want to market your services, you can use your blog to gain more exposure.
  • Sponsorships – As your blog’s popularity grows, many companies will be compelled to offer you sponsorships. Compared to Google AdSense, you can earn more money with private sponsorships. However, you must convince your sponsors that you have enough readers in your blog. You also need to show them your blog’s niche is related to the services or products they offer.

  • Personal Appearances and Speaking Fees – If you have a huge fan base, the public will see you as a celebrity. You can get paid by appearing at conferences and by giving speeches. One example of this is Fitz Villafuerte.
  • Selling Your Books – Every writer dream of being a best-selling author. But most of them fail, even the talented ones, due to lack of exposure. But if you have a blog, you can sell your books there to have more exposure. Also, if you have lots of readers, your books’ sales will increase.

Blogging can earn you enough money to pay the bills and feed your family. In fact, there are several writers out there who quit their job and became full-time bloggers. But if it’s not enough for you, there are other ways to make money online. You can check them out here.

Avoid Sticking To Unproductive People

Actually, this stuff I am about to share can be good or bad. It depends on where you get influence from. If the influence can help you achieve your goals, then that is good and vice versa if it can only lead you to misfortune. Anyway, I would like to put here the paragraph I read somewhere. I hope it makes sense to you. Avoid sticking to people who have hobbies of collecting stuff which are too much expensive. In the end, you'll be like them through the influence or the process.

Did You Start Your 52-Week Money Challenge?

Early of this year (January 2017) , I stumbled upon this weird challenge, the 52-week money challenge . The first time I got introduced to it, I became confused because I couldn't understand how it worked. Anyway, the idea of saving money from your salary or business weekly is a good idea but the challenge is you will add the original amount of money to the previous week's money every week.

Live In The Now

Live In The Moment Have you ever wondered and found yourself drifting in the past or floating in the future? If that is always the case, then I'll tell you that you are wasting your time. I'm not telling that dreaming about something or remembering the past is bad and not a good thing to do. It is okay to do it sometimes but do not make it a habit. What important is today, the present. I remember a quotation I heard from Kung Fu Panda movie (part 1) : "You are too concerned about what was and what will be. There is a saying: yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present."
